Distinguished Graduate Award

The positive impact of a Catholic education is most clearly embodied in our graduates, as they carry out their faith and commitment to the Catholic Church throughout their adult lives.
On behalf of the National Catholic Education Association, St. Catharine School recognizes a graduate from its school with the Distinguished Graduate Award. The positive impact of a Catholic education is most clearly embodied in our graduates, as they carry out their faith and commitment to the Catholic Church throughout their adult lives. Catholic elementary schools can point with pride to many graduates who are role models for the children who are currently attending the school. In recognizing these graduates, we emphasize those qualities that make Catholic Schools so different from other schools. SCS has participated in this award since 1997 and successfully identifies a person who has in some way shared their God given gifts with others.

Award Criteria
- Must be a past graduate of St. Catharine Elementary School
- Recipient should have made some significant contribution to American society and/or the Catholic Church, which reflects on the education the person received in Catholic elementary school.
